Path 3 · IT / SIWES Training

Industrial training that counts

Real industry experience for OND, HND and B.Sc students. The 6-month placement is accepted as industrial training by universities and polytechnics; the 3-month option suits short IT periods and is not a full SIWES; bring your institution's letter and logbook. Train on live automation equipment, keep a properly signed logbook, and leave with projects for your portfolio.

Why students choose us

What you get that a desk placement cannot give you

  1. Hands-on training

Real automation equipment: Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, panels and drives.

  2. Logbook support

Daily activities, supervisor signatures and official stamps, done properly for your school.

  3. Official IT letter

An acceptance letter confirming your placement, issued before you start at your request, for your school paperwork.

  4. Dedicated supervisor

A named engineer guides you, reviews your work and signs off your logbook.

  5. Industrial projects

Portfolio projects you can show at your defence and to employers.

  6. Project documentation

Complete documentation of every project undertaken, for your records.

How it works

From application to your signed logbook

  1. Apply online with your institution, matric number, level and the month your IT starts.
  2. We confirm a space for your month (spaces are limited) and send the fee invoice through the student portal.
  3. Pay by bank transfer. Your IT acceptance letter is issued once we have received your institution's letter and your payment.
  4. Train Monday to Thursday with your supervisor; your logbook is signed and stamped as you go.
  5. Finish with project documentation, and the Certificate of Completion on the 6-month option.
