One year. Thirteen modules. A full engineering portfolio.
The Academy Programme is our flagship route for school leavers, graduates and career changers who want to work as automation engineers. You start with electrical fundamentals and safety, and finish by designing, programming, wiring, testing and commissioning a complete automation system of your own.
Classes run Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a lunch break, and Friday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in our labs at New Bodija, Ibadan. Every available module is taught hands-on on real industrial hardware in our labs, and each student builds five or more projects for their portfolio.
On completion you receive the Professional Certificate in Industrial Automation and Control, access to our alumni network and free refresher sessions for 12 months (re-attend any module you completed, free of charge, when space allows).
By the end you will be able to
13 modules, in the order you learn them

Common questions
I have no technical background. Can I cope?
Yes. The programme is designed for absolute beginners. Module 1 starts with circuits, Ohm's law and safety, and every later module builds on the one before.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. The fee of ₦1,200,000 can be paid in full or in three monthly instalments of ₦400,000. The first instalment confirms your place. For any other arrangement choose "Custom plan" when you apply and the Academy office will call you.
What do I take home at the end?
The Professional Certificate in Industrial Automation and Control, a portfolio of five or more real projects, access to our alumni network and free refresher sessions for 12 months (re-attend any module you completed, free of charge, when space allows).
Is attendance compulsory?
Yes. This is a hands-on, full-time programme; practical modules are completed in the lab and attendance is recorded. Remote attendance does not count toward practical completion.
Where will I stay if I am not from Ibadan?
We don't provide accommodation, but we can share a list of lodgings in Bodija and New Bodija close to the campus.
